New Location for 2025 Canada Day Event

Join us in Brockville on Tuesday, July 1st as we celebrate Canada’s 158th birthday with a full day of community fun!

    Here’s what’s happening:

    • 11:45am – Classic Brockville tradition: a march from City Hall led by the Brockville Pipe & Drum Corps, local heroes, and dignitaries. The parade starts at City Hall and ends at Hardy Park gazebo.

    • 12:00pm – National anthem performed by AJ Benoit followed by remarks from Mayor Matt Wren and free cupcakes for all!

    • 12:30pm – Live music from “AJ and The Royal Canadians” and other local musicians (to be announced!). Bring your own lawn chair or blanket.

    • 9:30pm – Fireworks over the St. Lawrence River at Blockhouse Island.

Mayor Matt Wren invites the community to fly the flag this summer as we mark 60 years of the maple leaf as the National Flag of Canada. There’s also an excellent and affordable way to take part and its for a really good cause. You can obtain Canadian lawn signs at the Brockville Farmers Market on Saturdays or by getting in touch with Rotary www.rotarybrockville.ca. They’re $10 each including a stand and proceeds go to the wonderful charitable work of the Rotary Clubs.

Looking for more summer activities? There is so much happening in beautiful Brockville.
