Transit Driver (3 Positions)

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for a full-time Transit Driver position. This position is covered by the C.U.P.E. Local 115 (Outside) collective agreement. These positions may be required to operate both the conventional bus and para transit.

The regular working week shall be between thirty-one and one quarter (31.25) hours per week and forty (40) hours per week, to meet the needs of the operating schedule. Transit Drivers report to the Supervisor of Transportation Services and must be available for all shifts which include days, evenings, and weekends.

Applicants must have a secondary school diploma or equivalent education, possess a valid “B” or “C” Class driver’s license and have a good driving record. Excellent interpersonal skills and the desire to work with customers on a daily basis is also an asset.
