City of Brockville - Snow & Ice ControlAs per the City of Brockville’s policy for winter control operations, those roadways and sidewalks located within the City will be serviced according to their class or priority designation. The level of service is generally as per the following. Please note: Class 6 has been removed from the Provinces Minimum Maintenance Standards (Reg 239/02). Class 6 roadways in the city of Brockville will be attempted to be maintained at the same time frames as the Class 5’s. Although no specific time frames for class 6 roads remain. When Staff declare a Winter Weather Event, they will then Monitor, Patrol, and deploy equipment as deemed reasonable. Owners of peroperties which the driveways service will be responsible for removal of the snow deposited in those entrances by city snow clearing operations.
