When are my taxes due?

The 2023 Final Property Tax Bill is due on Thursday August 31, 2023

Please allow 3-5 business days for payment to reach us.

Payments may be made:

at any chartered bank
by mail to P.O. Box 5000, Brockville ON K6V 7A5
post-dated cheques
by phone/internet banking
at the Revenue Office, City Hall , 1 King St W., Brockville ON
during normal business hours
after hours drop box outside City Hall (Victoria Building) for cheques only please
Payments are accepted by debit card
Cheques to be made payable to THE CITY OF BROCKVILLE

Credit card payments are not accepted

If you require a receipt for income tax purposes, please retain your final bill.

A fee is charged for all duplicate receipts.

PREAUTHORIZED PAYMENT ACCOUNTS

Your final tax bill is for information purposes only.

If you are currently enrolled in the monthly preauthorized plan, no additional payment is required at this time. You will be advised by letter of any adjustments that will be made for the months of October, November and December.

PENALTY AND INTEREST ON OVERDUE TAXES

As authorized by Municipal Bylaw and the Provincial Municipal Act, the City of Brockville has established an interest/penalty charge for non-payment of taxes on THE FIRST DAY OF DEFAULT and on the first day of EACH month thereafter that current taxes and tax arrears are in default. DEFAULT IS MEANT TO MEAN ONE DAY AFTER THE DUE DATE.
