Employment Lands Review - City of Brockville

The City of Brockville is undertaking a Review of its Employment Lands to determine where new employment growth can be accommodated. This is to ensure that the City is not losing out on opportunities to grow its economy and provide additional opportunities for residents to find employment.

October 2, 2017 - At the Council meeting on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, City Council passed by-laws to adopt Official Plan Amendment No. 005 and amend Zoning By-law 050-2014 with respect to the Employment Lands. Notice of this adoption and amendment can be found here along with the By-laws:

  • By-law 060-2017 A By-law to Adopt Amendment Number 005 to the 2012 Official Plan
  • By-law 061-2017 Being a by-law to amend Comprehensive Zoning By-law 050-2014 with respect to the Brockvil/e Employment Lands Secondary Plan

September 21, 2017  - At a Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 7:00 pm, Council for the Corporation of the City of Brockville will consider the adoption of the Brockville Employment Lands Secondary Plan Report, Official Plan Amendment No. 005 and an amendment to Zoning By-law 050-2014 all with respect to the Employment Lands.

Delegation Request Process

  1. Submit request in writing (letter/fax/email) to the Clerk's office. Requests are to be received by the Clerk’s office no later than Monday, September 25th, 2017, 12:00 pm. Any requests submitted after the deadline will require the unanimous consent of Council to be added to the agenda.
  2. The request should include the delegates name, phone number and email address and brief details on what they wish to speak about.
  3. Delegations are limited to 10 minutes. Groups are asked to appoint one or two appointed speakers.
  4. Any material to be circulated should be sent in PDF format as well if there is a presentation it is to be provided in Power Point in the Clerk’s office by the deadline.
