Leaf and Yard Compost 

Gord Watts Municipal Centre - 251 North Augusta Road - Hours of Operation Monday to Friday: 

September 8 – October 30:      1 p.m. – 6 p.m. 

November 2 – November 27:    12 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Saturdays: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. (until site closes on Nov. 27, 2020)

Leaves, clippings, etc. A reminder that there is no curbside pick up. The compost site at Gord Watts (GWMC) on North Augusta Ave is open.
People may attend any day of the week during operating hours. 


Fall Curbside Leaf Collections

In addition to the compost site drop-off option, there will be two fall leaf collections in 2020 during the weeks of:

October 19th to the 23rd, 2020 and November 16th to the 20th, 2020

Please use paper bags or reusable containers ONLY. Leaves in plastic bags of any kind will not be collected. Place the leaves out at the curb on your regular collection day NO LATER THAN 7:00 a.m. during these two weeks, as your leaves are collected in a separate truck and may be collected prior to your garbage and recycling. If using reusable containers please label that they contain leaves.
