Public Notice Regarding Early Waste and Recycling Set-out

Please avoid setting waste out the evening before for the following reasons:

  1. It is in contravention of solid waste
    By-law 93-2012
  2. It may interfere with overnight snow removal operations
  3. It may cause nuisance problems with litter
  4. It may cause hygiene and public safety issues
  5. It is not visually appealing to have waste out longer than needed for collection

Because of these reasons, early set out of waste may result in fines of up to $5000 dollars.  Please do your part to help us keep Brockville clean. Thank you for your cooperation.
