City of Brockville Legacy Fund

The City of Brockville Legacy Fund was established in 2009 with an allocation of $200,000 from the City of Brockville into a fund under the management of the Brockville Community Foundation.

Annual earnings from the invested funds, less a 2% management fee, are distributed in Brockville to organizations who apply for funding of recreational and cultural capital projects.

The Legacy Committee is appointed annually by the Mayor and consists of 2 members of council and 3 residents who are past Citizens of the Year. This year’s Committee is comprised of Councillor D. LeSueur, Chair, Councillor J. Earle, Mr. Doug Grant, Mr. Christopher Coyea and Mr. David Beatty.

There is approximately $8000 in funding available for distribution this year. Application forms are available from City Hall Clerk’s Office (Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm) or on our website at

The deadline for submission of applications is Friday, April 7th, 2017 at 4:00 pm.
