Curbside collection of leaves will take place on your regular waste collection day during the following two weeks:
- October 23rd to October 26th, 2023
- November 13th to November 16th, 2023
Please note that plastic bags are not permitted for leaf collection. Leaves must be in paper bags or reusable containers only. Please ensure that no garbage or brush is included.
Place leaves at the curb no later than 7:00 a.m. on your regular waste collection day during either of the 2 weeks listed above, as leaves may be collected earlier than your garbage and recycling. Please ensure that the paper bags or containers weigh less than 22 kg (50 lbs).
Leaves and brush may also be brought to the Gord Watts Compost Site at 251 North Augusta Road. Leaves are free to drop off, but a small fee applies to brush.
Compost site hours and rates are available in the waste collection calendar or by calling (613) 342-8772 extension 3220. The site will close November 24th for the season.
