Brockville, ON – August 28, 2026 – The City of Brockville is inviting residents to play a creative role in the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election through the launch of Brockville’s “I Voted” Sticker Contest.
The contest challenges residents to create an original sticker design that celebrates voting, civic engagement, community pride, and what makes Brockville unique. The winning design will become the City’s official “I Voted” sticker and will be distributed to voters during the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election.
“We’re excited to offer residents a unique opportunity to contribute to the election experience,” said City Clerk Sheena Earl. “This contest is about celebrating democracy, encouraging civic participation, and showcasing the creativity that exists throughout our community.”
Residents are encouraged to submit artwork that can be reproduced as a circular sticker and reflects the spirit of Brockville. Following the submission period, a panel of judges will review all eligible entries and select three finalist designs. The finalists will then be presented to the community for public voting, giving residents the opportunity to help choose the design that will represent Brockville voters during the election.
The winning artist will receive a $150 Visa gift card, recognition from the City of Brockville, and the distinction of having their artwork featured on the official sticker distributed to voters across the community.
The contest is open to Brockville residents and submissions will be accepted beginning August 31, 2026. Residents wishing to participate can find contest rules, submission requirements, and additional information by visiting the City’s website.
