The City of Brockville invites applications from interested and qualified individuals for appointments to the Brockville Airport Commission (one-year term).
The purpose of the Brockville – 1000 Islands Regional Tackaberry Airport Commission is to monitor, guide and support the operation, maintenance, planning and development of the Airport and the Airport infrastructure, on the advice and consent of Council and the Director of Operations, and to advise Council and the Director of Operations on any related matters they may bring to it.
Member Eligibility
To serve on the Commission, an applicant or member must be:
- 16 years of age (with parental consent) or older;
- A Canadian Citizen or permanent resident;
- Name three individuals who are willing to act as a reference, if needed.
Commitment
The Commission currently meets monthly, excluding July, August and December on the third Tuesday at 9:00 am, virtually.

Members of the public who are interested in serving on the 1000 Islands Regional Tackaberry Airport Commission should apply online outlining their interest.
