Brockville Municipal Accessibility Advisory Committee held their annual Accessibility Awards. Presentations were made by the following recipients:

Red, Hot and Blue Rockabilly Weekend- Municipal Significance
Council has officially declared the “Red, Hot, and Blue Rockabilly Weekend” held on August 28 to August 31 at St. John’s Church an event of “Municipal Significance”. This designation supports the event’s application for a Special Occasion Permit from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
Improved Tourism Oriented Direction Signing (TODS)
Council authorized staff to enter into a Memorandum of Understand with the Sifton Foundation. This agreement will allow for new Tourism Oriented Directional Signage (TODS) for the Armagh Sifton Waterfront Park. The signage will be display on both eastbound and westbound Highway 401.
Brockville and Area Food Bank- Food Insecurity Declaration
Council will formally request that the Provincial and Federal Governments take action to address the root causes of food insecurity, including: inadequate income levels, lack of affordable housing, and rising food costs.
Proclamations:
Council proclaimed June 30, 2025 as indigenous Survivors Day-National Blanket Ceremony Day.
