Meet Lane, our youngest member of the Brockville Buzz Squad. Lane has grown up in Brockville and is currently wrapping up her final year of high school. A dancer at Four Seasons Dance Academy, Lane spends most of her spare time at the studio and and will taking the ballet program at George Brown in Toronto in the Fall. She loves to bake, and with strong family ties to the area, she may one day open a patisserie in Brockville.

Have you lived in Brockville your whole life, or did your family move here?
Yes, I have always lived in Brockville.
How do you spend your time when you are not in school?
I usually spend my time at my dance studio, Four Seasons Dance Academy, and I also love to bake!
What do you and your friends like to do and where do you hang out?
My friends and I love to go to all the cafes Brockville offers, they are all so cute!
What would you say is the “best kept secret” about Brockville?
The best kept secret about Brockville is definitely the Brock Trail. It’s so peaceful to go and walk there.
What are your plans for the future?
I’ve just graduated from high school and will be leaving Brockville to pursue a dance program. Eventually, I plan to be a pastry chef and have my own patisserie.
What would draw you back to Brockville after you finish post-secondary education?
There’s a chance my patisserie will be in based in Brockville, it is great area and I also believe my family all being here would draw me back, they are the best!
