    Update: Planning and Development Committee Meeting on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, will start at 5:30 p.m., followed by a Planning and Development Public Planning Meeting at 6:00 p.m.

    The Planning and Development Committee of the City of Brockville will be hosting Public Meetings to give the public an opportunity to make representations concerning the following Application for a Plan of Subdivision and proposed Amendments to Zoning Bylaw 050-2014.

    Summary of Proposal

    Subject Property:

    Part of Lots 149, 150, 155 to 174, 181 to 185, and 245 to 249, Part of Ascot Street, Part of Bridlewood Drive, Block J, and Block C, formerly Part of Plan 375

    Proposed Subdivision:

    The owner is proposing 7 new residential blocks to contain 14 semi-detached dwelling units.

    Proposed Zoning Change:

    Change from “H1-R3-General Residential Zone”, in part, and “H1-R5-Multiple Residential Zone”, in part, subject to “Source Water Protection” considerations to “H1-R3-General Residential Zone”, subject to “Source Water Protection” considerations to permit semi-detached dwellings.

    Proposal for Lands:

    The proposal is to permit a total of 14 new residential units along the proposed extension of Bridlewood Drive. Bridlewood Drive is proposed to extend from its current endpoint through to Centennial Road.

    The subject lands are also subject to a Holding Symbol Removal request and an Application for Consent at the opposite end of the block to accommodate a triplex dwelling to be built on Dobbie Street.

    Any person may attend this public meeting and make written or oral representations in support of, or opposition to, the proposed amendments. Written submissions from persons not attending the meeting should be received by the Planning Department, City Hall, 1 King Street West, PO Box 5000, Brockville, Ontario, K6V 7A5 or through email to circulations@brockville.com. Written correspondence must include your full name, address, email and the item on the agenda that your correspondence is related to. Submissions should be received by June 23, 2025.

    If you are unable to attend and wish to be notified of the decision of the Corporation of the City of Brockville in respect to the above applications, you must make a written request to the Planning Department for the City of Brockville, P.O. Box 5000, Brockville, Ontario, K6V 7A5 or circulations@brockville.com prior to the meeting.
