Tennis Pickleball Courts and COVID-19 Guidelines

Tennis and Pickleball Courts have re-opened as of Friday May 29th, 2020. Please use the following guidelines for safe play during COVID-19.   

Schofield Park Court Complex

1 Tennis Court, 2 Pickleball Courts

  • Schofield Park Court Complex is for the sole use of pickleball and tennis players

No spectators, no visitors

  • Stay in vehicle when waiting to play
  • Singles matches only
  • Limit of 4 people in court complex
  • Sign-up mandatory on schedules provided.  Bring your own pen.
  • Safety is paramount
  • Players shall maintain 2m/6’ physical distancing
  • Walk directly to your court.  Do not stop, do not socialize
  • Bring your own hand sanitizer

Use hand sanitizer before and after handling common items such as door handles, etc.

  • Follow COVID-19 Public Health Guidelines

Butler’s Creek (Church Street)

1 Tennis Court

  • Butler’s Creek tennis court is for the sole use of tennis players

No spectators, no visitors

  • Stay in vehicle when waiting to play
  • Singles matches only
  • Limit of 2 people in tennis court
  • Sign-up mandatory on schedules provided.  Bring your own pen.
  • Safety is paramount
  • Players shall maintain 2m/6’ physical distancing
  • Walk directly to your court.  Do not stop, do not socialize
  • Bring your own hand sanitizer

In keeping with guidance from the Health Unit, the City is allowing doubles play on our public pickleball courts as long as participants are in the small family/ social circle.  While playing participants should not have contact with anyone outside of their social circle.  The City are also requiring:

  • No spectators, no visitors
  • Stay in vehicle when waiting to play
  • Sign-up mandatory on schedules provided.  Bring your own pen.
  • Walk directly to your court.  Do not stop, do not socialize
  • Bring your own hand sanitizer
