Following the Canadian Free Trade Agreement, for Municipal Procurement, the estimated value of a contract determines the procurement process to be used. If a purchase warrants a formal competitive bid, the bid is required to be posted publicly. Current competitive Tenders and RFP's initiated by City of Brockville are advertised on bids&tenders, an electronic platform that manages procurement processes.

The Corporation of the City of Brockille wil be formally requesting proposals for the following project: Redevelopment of 36-46 King Street West. Individuals and organizations who supply goods or services to the Corporation of the City of Brockville are required to provide evidence of insurance as part of the terms and conditions of the contract, permit, license or other form of agreement.
The minimum acceptable per-occurrence limit required for comprehensive general liability is $5,000,000. Please refer to the contract as additional insurance requirements are clearly stated for each contract.

Surplus Equipment & Vehicles
From time to time, the Corporation of the City of Brockville may deem equipment or other goods as surplus and the items are disposed of via public auction. Items are sold “as is” and “where is” and there is no warranty or guarantee. All auctions are advertised on the GovDeals website.
