Information for Voters
To be an eligible elector in the City of Brockville, you have to be:
Voting for students: If you are student and consider your "home" to be the place where you live when you are not attending school, which means you plan on returning there, then you are eligible to vote in both your "home" municipality and in the municipality where you currently live while attending school.
To check if your name is on the Voters List, visit the Clerk's Office between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm on weekdays, or fill out this form and mail it to City Hall.
Commencing on September 6, 2022, individuals will be able to verify that their name is on the Voter’s List for the upcoming Municipal Elections by visiting or calling Brockville City Hall between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. After September 19, 2022, you will be required to come into the Voter Help Centre at Brockville City Hall to fill out a form and provide photo identification.
As an added security feature, you will be required to add your date of birth before voting. If you are unsure that your full date of birth is on the voter’s list, you may contact the Voter Help Centre to have it added prior to voting if you name is not on the list.

Vote at your convenience by internet or telephone!
Electors in the City of Brockville will be voting electronically, by internet or telephone in the 2022 Municipal Election.
A Voter Information Letter will be mailed to you directly in the month of October, providing you with a Personal identification Number (PIN) which will allow you to vote 24 hours a day for 8 days, from Monday, October 17th at 10 am to Monday, October 24th, at 8 pm, from any touch tone telephone or any device connected to the internet;
