Work had begun on Concrete Curbs and Sidewalks in the City of Brockville.
The City of Brockville has started construction and reconstruction of concrete curbs and sidewalks at various locations throughout the City. Areas selected for curb work will correct drainage issues on roads that will soon be paved, and the sidewalks selected were ones identified as being in extremely poor condition and in need of replacement. This work will be completed by LA Knapp Construction, and overseen by the City’s Engineering Division.
Curb and sidewalk work is currently underway at Brockmount Place, with upcoming work locations to include:
- Beley Street from Dana Street to Row Place
- Kensington Parkway from Laurier Avenue to Peden Boulevard
- Aldershot Avenue at Central Avenue
- Park Street from Front Avenue West to the bridge.
We will work to keep traffic disruption to a minimum as this work progresses, however some disruption and minor inconveniences may occur. Please check Municipal 511 for any active detours or traffic notices. The work is expected to take until May 31.
For any questions of concerns, please direct your calls to Drew White, Engineering Division, at 613-342-8772 extension 3224 or email Drew White
