Request Form to be a Delegate

Rules with respect to Delegations and Presentations are outlined in the City’s Procedure Bylaw No. 079-2024

All delegations and presentations shall self-register by completing the following form and submitting it by 4:00pm on the day prior to the meeting at which the delegation or presentation is to be heard. Each delegation or presentation will have a maximum of 10 minutes to speak, excluding replies to questions from members. Delegations or presentations on the following topics shall not be permitted:

a) labour relations or staff negotiations;

b) Notices of Motion;

c) litigation or administrative tribunal proceedings that are either expected to proceed, that are currently proceeding, or that have already been decided by a court or tribunal;

d) tenders, requests for proposals or other procurement issues;

e) any matter that is not within the jurisdiction of Council or Committee, as determined by the Clerk in consultation with the Chair; and

f) any matter that is properly the subject of a Closed Session.
