Public Citywide Portal for Service Requests and Asset Management
Project Overview
The City of Brockville is nearing completion of the implementation of PSD Citywide, a Asset and Work Management System to improve service delivery, asset management, and maintenance tracking across the municipality.
As part of this initiative, the City has launched the Citywide Portal, providing residents with a convenient way to report issues related to City-owned infrastructure and assets. Information submitted through the portal helps City staff identify issues, coordinate maintenance activities, and respond more efficiently to service requests.
The project was approved through the 2024 Capital Budget with an allocation of $250,000 for the implementation of an Asset and Work Management System. This platform supports asset inventory management, maintenance tracking, service requests, inspections, work planning, and long-term infrastructure planning.
The system also improves the City’s ability to collect and manage information about municipal assets and maintenance activities, supporting informed decision-making, future budgeting, and the responsible management of municipal infrastructure.
