Downtown Parking Study

September 15, 2026

Project Overview

The Downtown Parking Study will assess existing parking conditions in downtown Brockville and adjacent residential streets to better understand current parking supply, usage, and future needs. The study is being completed by J.L. Richards & Associates Limited on behalf of the City of Brockville.

Downtown Brockville is a key destination for residents, businesses, visitors, and tourists. As the downtown continues to evolve and potential residential density increases are considered through the City’s planning and zoning framework, the study will help identify opportunities to improve parking management, accessibility, convenience, and long-term mobility.

Funded through the 2026 Capital Budget with an allocation of $100,000, the study will inventory and map existing public and private parking resources, analyze parking demand and utilization, and develop recommendations to support future parking needs in the downtown.
