Human Resources Department
The Human Resources Department is responsible to recruit and support a team of professionals, skilled and accountable staff so that they are able to provide quality services to the City of Brockville.

The department takes care of all labour relation activities, health and safety administration, recruitment and succession planning, benefit and pension administration and policy development. The department is responsible for paying all City of Brockville Employee’s on a bi-weekly basis.

The City of Brockville has 3 bargaining agents and 5 separate collective agreements.

The City’s employment is a combination of full-time, part-time, seasonal and students and therefore ranges from 275 to 350 employees throughout the year.

The Human Resources Department consists of 3 full time employees: the Senior Manager of Human Resources, Human Resources & Payroll Coordinator and the Health and Safety Coordinator.

In addition to supporting the City of Brockville employees, the Human Resources team also provides assistance to related City/Municipal Boards such as the Brockville Police Services, the Brockville Museum, the Brockville Library, and the Aquatarium.
