  • Notice of Public Meeting Concerning Proposed Condominium Conversions: May 7, 2024

    The Planning and Development Committee of the City of Brockville will be holding a Public Meeting for the purpose of considering the proposed Condominium Conversions of multiple properties.

    Applications have been made for Condominium Conversion of eleven (11) existing rental properties containing a total of 362 rental apartment units within fourteen (14) buildings. The addresses are as follows:

    • 1390 Kensington Parkway, File Number: 8-CD-24509
    • 1400 Kensington Parkway, File Number: 8-CD-24510
    • 1410 Kensington Parkway, File Number: 8-CD-24511

    At this meeting, it is the intention of the Committee to review applications/initiatives and hear objections, comments, or receive briefs before making a recommendation to City Council.     Applications and Supporting Documents


    If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at the public meeting or make written submissions to the PDC in respect of the proposed application(s) before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the said application(s), the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the City of Brockville’s Planning and Development Committee to the Ontario Land Tribunal.

    Further, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal to the Ontario Land Tribunal, unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

    If you wish to provide written comments to and/or be notified of the decision of the City of Brockville’s Planning Development Committee in respect of the proposed application(s), you must make a written request by 26 April 2024 to: Director of Economic and Development Services, City Hall, One King Street West, P.O.
